PRIPRAVKA™ - THE FIRST UKRAINIAN PRODUCER OF SPICES AND SEASONINGS WITH A STEAM STERILIZER ON THE PRODUCTION SITE

In 2019, Pripravka TM began a new stage of development: as an innovator of the category, we introduced STERILIZATION of spices and condiments by steam.

We have been dealing with spices, herbs and spices for 20 years. For two decades, we have been developing the concept of creating new flavours of natural spices, which are distinguished on the market by their innovation and originality.

However, we are innovators not only in expanding the gastronomic tastes of Ukrainians but also in terms of quality. For several years now, we have been researching the quality of spices and seasonings and adapting specifications to stringent global requirements and replacing suppliers. Recently, we became the first producer of spices and seasonings in Ukraine to sterilize raw materials. This will minimize the microbiological contamination of raw materials, increase shelf life and ensure product safety.

The quality of raw materials depends on the conditions of its cultivation and storage. The soil on which the spices are grown can be infected with pathogenic microorganisms, from where the bacteria get in different ways in the middle and on the surface of the spices.

Storage conditions of collected raw materials often do not meet sanitary standards. Farmers dry spices in open-air yards and the raw materials contain not only sand, stones, glass, hair, but also animal and bird droppings, insects and their larvae, which can be carriers of various bacteria. Such raw materials pose a great threat to the human body. However, if you disinfect such spices by sterilization, it will ensure the complete food safety of the product.

Steam sterilization is one of the safest and most popular methods of combating microbiology in the world. However, in Ukraine, this method is rare due to the high investment in equipment. The main purpose of sterilization is to destroy and create conditions under which microorganisms will no longer develop further.
